Travel Expectations

ITC recognizes there may be unforeseen situations that preclude a Board Member from participating in-person as these past three years have certainly shown us.  In-person attendance at the annual conference and the annual summer retreat is expected; however, exceptions may be made for in-person meetings should college travel restrictions or unforeseen budget freezes/cuts be made preventing college staff from traveling.

To be included on the ITC ballot please complete the ITC 2023 Regional Representatives Form which includes the following:

  • A letter of support from your college President/Administrator. This letter must show that you will receive financial support to travel to the in-person meetings you will be expected to attend.
  • A statement of interest of why you feel qualified to represent your region on the ITC Board of Directors. We will include this statement on the ballot.

ITC will conduct an email ballot starting in late March 2023. The new term will run from July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2025.

Please complete the form and submit your supporting documents by Friday, March 24, 2023 .

Thank you for your interest in helping ITC in its mission to provide leadership, information, and resources to expand and enhance distance learning through the effective use of technology. If you have any questions please email ITC Executive Director Andrea Taylor ([email protected]).
