Austin Community College (ACC) is a large community college district serving Central Texas, known for providing affordable and accessible higher education and workforce training. It offers over 100 programs across 11 campuses, with a focus on student success and community development. Keynote Speakers
Bhavani Kola Department Chair of Mathematics, Tarrant County College CEO and Founder, Eclatech Solutions
Bhavani Kola is an educator, department chair, AI trainer, and technology strategist with more than two decades of experience in higher education. She serves as the CEO and founder of Eclatech Solutions, a company dedicated to closing AI literacy gaps for educators, nonprofits, and corporate teams. Over the past year, she has trained more than a thousand learners across sectors, helping them move from basic AI understanding to building custom agents tailored to their daily work.
Bhavani’s work centers on demystifying artificial intelligence and making it practical, ethical, and accessible for real-world teaching and workforce needs. She specializes in helping teams adopt AI tools with zero latency by providing hands-on training grounded in clarity, data, and real use cases.
Her leadership and impact in the AI space have earned national recognition. She was invited to the first OpenAI Global Summit, named an AI Innovator at the ASU+GSV Summit for 2024 to 2025, and continues to partner with institutions across the United States to elevate digital confidence and AI readiness.
Bhavani holds advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics, along with certifications from MIT, Stanford, NVIDIA, AWS, and NC3. She is committed to empowering educators, leaders, and communities with the skills they need to thrive in an AI-driven world.
Monique Reeves Futurist/Executive Vice Chancellor, Office for the Future Austin Community College District
Dr. Monique Reeves, Futurist/Executive Vice Chancellor of Austin Community College made her date with destiny when she solidified her love for data earning her B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems at Middle Tennessee State University.
After 20 plus years of leadership experience in Corporate America with Bridgestone/Firestone and ACS (Xerox), Dr. Reeves knew she wanted to be a champion for change in higher education. With her Master of Science Degree in hand, she earned her doctoral degree in management from the University of Maryland University College with a focus in Community College Policy and Administration.
Her lifelong commitment to innovation, equity, and systemic change is evidenced by her future thinking initiatives as the former President at Houston Community College Northeast and as Vice President of Workforce Innovation and the College-wide Dean of the Information Technology Center of Excellence at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) in Ohio.
Dr. Reeves was selected as an Aspen Presidential Fellow for Community College Excellence and holds numerous professional certifications that include Project Management Professional as well as Certified Scrum Master. Dr. Reeves also serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Executive Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership & Policy at The University of Texas at Austin.

We are looking for bold, inspiring, and thought-provoking presentations that align with this year's theme, "Keep eLearning Weird: Bold Innovations in Online Instruction." Whether you've developed a unique pedagogical approach, implemented a new and unconventional technology, or discovered a creative solution to a common challenge, we want to hear from you. Your experience—including what worked and what didn't—is invaluable to your peers. Presenting at the conference is not only a chance to showcase your expertise but also to connect with fellow pioneers and contribute to the ongoing evolution of online learning. Submit your proposal today and help us collectively push the boundaries of what's possible in digital education.
Session themes for the 2026 Annual eLearning Conference include:
- Pedagogy and Andragogy in Distance Education: Proposals in this track should focus on teaching and learning theories, instructional design models, and effective practices for adult learners in online and blended environments.
- Instructional Technology and Tools: This track is for proposals that explore specific technologies, software, and tools used to create engaging and accessible learning experiences. Submissions can cover anything from virtual reality to learning management system features.
- Student Success and Engagement: This track focuses on strategies and research related to enhancing student motivation, retention, and active participation in online learning environments. Proposals may cover topics such as building online communities, providing effective support services, and fostering a sense of belonging.
- Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL): This track is dedicated to proposals on ensuring all learners can access and succeed in distance education. Topics may include designing for diverse abilities, assistive technologies, and implementing UDL principles.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Proposals in this track should focus on methods for measuring student learning, providing effective feedback, and evaluating the effectiveness of distance education programs.
- Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Pedagogy: This track is for proposals that explore the creation, use, and impact of OER, as well as pedagogical practices that leverage open resources and tools.
- Leadership and Administration: This track is for proposals on the organizational, leadership, and administrative aspects of distance education. Topics could include strategic planning, faculty development, policy, and program management.
